About Cassy

I’m Cassy Shaune.

I’m a certified birth doula, and a bereavement doula.

The birth of my own children has been one of the few times in life where time has stood still, and I felt peace completely wash over me. I am honored to be part of this experience for other birthing people, and to support you on your journey to bringing life into the world. My own experiences include fertility treatment, cesarean section, vaginal birth after cesarean section, and pregnancy after loss. With my background I offer understanding, empathy, and will walk alongside you to help create the experience you want and deserve.

I’ve also experienced losses during pregnancy, and I’ve decided to honor my babies through providing bereavement services as well. I chose Everlasting Love as part of my business name, because through life and death, the love for our children is everlasting.

I am here for you to provide physical, emotional and informational support during labor and delivery (or surgery), and have special training in perinatal loss. I am able to support families experiencing miscarriage, late-term pregnancy loss, stillbirth, and life-limiting diagnoses. I am here to hold space for you to share your feelings, concerns, and grief. I will help guide you through what to expect and how to prepare for surgery, delivery, and navigating how to take care of yourself during this time. I will offer ways to honor your baby, and help you find healthy ways to grieve and cope. I want to celebrate your baby with you, because even if he or she was only able to be here for a moment, I want you to know your baby matters, and you are not alone.
